Kyoto Grand to Host Women of the Year
The Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens is very proud to have been selected to host the Downtown Los Angeles Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League and the Japanese Women’s Society of Southern California 2010 Women of the Year honorees.
Four honorees Katsuko Teruya Arakawa, Marilyn Nobori, Nancy Kyoko Oda, and Grace A. Shiba will be honored at a luncheon on Sunday, May 16, beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the Golden Ballroom of the Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens in Little Tokyo. Ticket prices are $40.00 per ticket.
George Kita, president of the Downtown Los Angeles Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League said, “We are so proud to be able to acknowledge the importance of such diverse and talented women.”
“These four women are exemplary leaders of our community,” added Yoko Shiba, president of the Japanese Women’s Society of Southern California.
