Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles

The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), established in 1979, is the only museum in Los Angeles wholly dedicated to modern art.  With one of the largest permanent modern art collections in the country, MOCA is a national leader in contemporary interpretation.  In addition to permanent exhibits, MOCA offers extensive programs for the public.  Lectures, artist-led workshops, and guided exhibit tours are among the programs offered throughout the year.  The MOCA family of museums includes the main MOCA Grand Avenue site, The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA and the MOCA pacific Design Center.  Visit www.moca.org for visitor information.
