Sports Fans Find Viewing Home at Kyoto Grand

June is heating up both on the thermometer and in the hearts of sports fans everywhere. The Staples Center will once again be host to the NBA Finals between the Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers and their storied rivals, namely the Boston Celtics. Meeting in the NBA Championship against each other for the 17th time, Lakers fans know far to well about the legendary battles for title. The Staples Center will be filled with the ghosts of Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West dueling Bill Russell and Bob Cousy, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabar against Larry Bird, Kevin McHale. The Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield could have a full wing dedicated to the great players and coaches on both benches who matched wits against each other and help make the NBA the global power it has become today. This year has potential to be as epic as past runs, as it gives the Lakers a chance to not only defend their crown as NBA Champions and repoeat, but it brings a sense of vindication as they would be beating the Celtics, who just two years ago, knocked them off to claim their 17th NBA title. Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Derek Fisher and team can perhaps take down the Big Three of Boston: Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.

The NBA Finals and related Los Angeles events tip off Thursday, June 3rd at 6:00 PM at the Staples Center and it should be a great series for the fans. Game Two of the championship series will also be in downtown LA, at the Staples Center, tip-off at 5:00 PM local time.

While all of this is going on, very quietly to many, the LA Dodgers are working their way back up the standings and are in position to reclaim their top spot position atop the West. The first week of June proves to be a great time for sports fans as the Dodgers host back to back home series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals. Nine straight days of home games at Dodger’s Stadium.

Combine that with that World Cup Soccer Championship getting under way on June 11th and the beginning of June is a sports fans delight.
